Pediatric endocrine conditions such as congenital adrenal hyperplasia, ambiguous genitalia, barter’s syndrome, pseudohypoaldosteronism and hypopitutarism are some of the endocrine disorders which have been diagnosed here and successful treatment initiated.
Diabetic Ketoacidosis is the most common emergency seen in the PICU. Many difficult cases of persistent hypoglycaemia have been solved and managed successfully.
